Justin Bieber breaks neck-The Internet lit up with a rumor Tuesday morning (June 15) that pop star Justin Bieber had broken his neck in a car accident.
If so, he made a really fast recovery: He was up and tweeting as usual as of about 1 p.m. ET.
We think it's safe to say that Justin's neck is fine, and we're going to go ahead and bat down the rumor that he has syphilis as well. That made the rounds a few days ago.
Some of the broken-neck stories making the rounds today cited "a very reliable source at CNN" who supposedly told the authors of blog posts that they had inside information about the alleged car accident that resulted in the injury; if so, that source forgot to take the news to his or her own employer, because the story is nowhere on CNN.com.
It comes with being a famous person in an age, we suppose. You want to cavort with Kim Kardashian in the Bahamas and roll with Usher? Then you have to put up with some other nonsense as well.
Come to think of it, we suspect some Bieber fanatics will find a way to blame this latest rumor on her. Eyes open, Kim.
